Welcome to Psycle®. We are so excited for you to begin your journey and join our Psycle® family. 
Here are some helpful tips for a great first ride:


Arrive at the studio 15 minutes prior to the ride. Let the instructor know that you are a new rider and they will help you get signed in and setup on the bike. All riders are required to sign a waiver prior to class so make sure to stop at the front desk to sign one.


Be sure to wear clothing that will not rub or chafe while riding. Our bikes accommodate SPD and Look Delta cycling cleats. We also provide cages for students wearing athletic shoes.


Please bring water and a towel to class. There is a filtered water cooler for riders to fill their bottles.


What do you want to accomplish during your ride? Bringing positive energy and intention into the studio creates an energy footprint for those riding alongside you. Sharing your energy with the pack creates an environment of positivity and support.


Take the ride at your own pace, sitting when you need a break, adjusting your resistance to match your intention, but always sticking to the rhythm of the music. You will grow stronger with each ride. Ride from your core, let the rhythm of the music saturate your soul, and have fun! Success is defined as doing just a little more than you think you can to create change – it’s not about “doing the entire class” the way the instructor does. Many people in the studio have been doing this for years and they all started someplace too… there is no judgement here!

FUEL UP... 2-3 Hours Before Class.

It is critical to your body’s performance that you hydrate and have a carb/protein snack 2-3 hours prior to class. Be sure to keep it on the light side as too much food prior to physical activity can make you sick. You will burn a lot of calories regardless of what class you attend, so fuel up smart!
